Rhegess Perry

II’m Rhegess Perry, I proudly serve as the Chairman of the Jefferson County Barber Commission and the CEO of Trim Grooming Company. I also had the privilege of founding HONE Barbering Academy and the Jefferson County Barbering Association. With my licenses as a Journeyman Barber, Barber Instructor, and Shop Owner, along with a B.S. in Business Administration, concentration in Finance, I’m deeply invested in our industry. Barbering truly runs in my family. As a 4th generation barber and beauty entrepreneur, I carry on a legacy that started with my great-grandmother, who graduated from Madam CJ Walker’s School of Beauty Culture in 1941 and opened one of Birmingham’s first woman-owned businesses. My great-grandfather, a barber in 1930s Chicago. As a part in the Chicago Journeyman Barber’s union, he worked hard to provide for his family, navigating the challenges of that time with resilience. I’m passionate about fostering barbering excellence, embracing innovation, and leading with a spirit of service. I believe that together, we can build a thriving business ecosystem that uplifts our community.
Randall Dawkins

Is a seasoned entrepreneur and educator with over three decades of experience in the beauty and grooming industry. A 2000 graduate of Lawson State Community College School of Barbering, Randall has dedicated his career to excellence in grooming and beauty services. Since 2011, Randall has been the proud owner of Randall’s Grooming Lounge, a premier destination for men’s grooming. Expanding his vision, he launched The Beauty Lounge by RGL in 2015, offering a comprehensive range of beauty services. With over a decade holding an Instructor’s license, Randall is also a respected educator, sharing his expertise and passion with aspiring professionals. In addition to his entrepreneurial and instructional roles, Randall is a published author. His book, The Barber Consultant, reflects his deep knowledge and commitment to advancing the grooming industry.
